Well, Barry's return back "home" to Vegas was wonderful. I had the great privilege of traveling to Vegas last week to see M&P. I bought these tickets back during the 2005 Convention, so I have been waiting a long, long time. And then with the added stress of cancellations, I do believe I shaved about 50 years off my life!! LOL!!! The shows were great. He looks great and sounds better and stronger than ever. This trip was special for me because I brought my niece and her boyfriend with me and they went to Saturday's show. They are not big Barry fans, but they do seem to like some of his songs. They saw Saturday's show, which I think was the best show of the week--Barry was very into it, he was very funny, and the crowd was out of control (even before the show started). My niece was overwhelmed by the whole pageantry of the show and being so close--front row center (it don't get any better than that!!!). And I finally ventured off the Hilton property and saw just about everything there is to see in Vegas. That was a lot of fun!!! So, are any of you making any trips out to the "Holy Land" If so, let's hear all the details........and I do mean ALL!!!!!!! Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, Thanks for sharing. Is Barry back to "normal", as in before he had hip pain and surgery? Is he walking OK? I noticed when he was in Chicago (10/21) that he had trouble walking down the steps in the Copa segment. I'll be going to Vegas in April. Adele P.S. How do you get such good tickets? You must be on the 'A' list at the BMIFC.

Hi Adele,
How are you??? I hope you're doing well and that you had a good holiday.
I bought my tickets back at the 2005 convention. Remember when Garry did the Q&A and announced Barry was coming back in 2006? And they had set up computers in another room, where we could go and buy tickets right away?? And then a bunch of "nuts" went in that room to do just that??? Well, meet one of those "nuts"!!! LOL!!!! It was first come, first serve, so I'm pretty sure I was one of the first (if not the first) to pick that date.
I really didn't see anything "jump out" at me to indicate that Barry was struggling or having difficulty. The only thing I did notice was that he wasn't running around the stage or doing a lot of jumping. Other than that, if I didn't know about his surgery, I would have found it hard to believe he had anything done, since he was moving so well and so shortly after the procedure.
I guess there really isn't anything he can't do!!! LOL!!!
